I am posting alittle early for Movie Star Monday, but it will be a busy week ahead for me. I turned on Turner Classic Movies this morning and there she was, Myrna Loy. What a dame! How many times do you hear that in an old 30's movie??? Myrna was born in Montana in 1905 and passed in 1993 at 88. She was such a delight to watch. Classy and snappy. Loved her.
An early shot, probably from the 20's...
The Thin Man with William Powell and Asta. What a great series of Thin Man Movies they did. They are preserved for us to watch over and over. Wonderful!
A shot of two great movie stars. Myrna and the great Gloria Swanson, probably in the late 70's...
