Miyagi, Japan Day 11: Sendai & Matsushima

After breakfast this morning, we took the Loople Sendai Bus from Sendai Station to a few of the touristy locations in Sendai City. The One Day Pass for Loople Sendai cost 600yen that you show the driver when you alight from bus. We only stopped at those locations that do not require any entrance fee XD

First stop! Sendai International Center, basically nothing is in there..not sure why is it even in the Loople Bus brochure -.-

Next, Sendai City Museum.. requires entrance fee... -.- didn't enter

Walked up hill for about 20 (?) minutes and we reached Aoba Castle! nice view of Sendai from here :D

Last stop, Sendai Mediatheque

After Sendai Loople, went ramen for lunch! tonkotsu ramen yum yum!

Sendai is really the City of Trees ><

Next, Matsushima Bay! One of the 3 best view in Japan!
Took the JR Senkeki Line to Hon-Shiogama Station wanted to take a cruise ride to Matsushima Bay, but we arrived a little too late at 3.40pm :< the last cruise was 3.30pm -_- why so early?! In the end, took the train to Matsushima Kaigan Station instead, the place where the cruise was supposed to dock after the trip to Matsushima Bay.

Great place with amazing view! It was affected during the 2011 Miyagi earthquake and tsunami but the place is now more or less recovered!

Awesome weather today!!

Went back to Sendai Ichibancho Arcade for dinner.

Tried Sake! tasted like vodka (which I don't really like)

and natto >< just 4 beans tho XD don't like :/

PS: I was supposed to attend Ayaka live in Sendai today :<
